INSPIRED BY A TRUE STORY
In Inspired By A True Story, I am creating awkward scenes of habitation. While some images are digital composites, others are ‘straight’ photographs. Both methods of photographic construction stand on equal footing to raise questions about the built environment and the agency of photography. These places are not real per se, but rather interpretations of vernacular fantasies. As such, the titles were assumed from the most common city names in America and assigned to the images at random.
